9000 Bay Hill BlvdOrlando FL 32819 407-876-2429
Description:
BAY HILL. This outstanding course is basically private, however guests of the resort are allowed to play without being accompanied by a member. These wide fairways will allow you to get aggressive off the tee. For those that like to take chances, this course provides several opportunities to gamble on shots that can either pay off nicely or penalize you severely. These greens are firm and guarded by mounds and bunkers, so high, soft approach shots will have the best chance of holding the green.

Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club
(Sights & Activities - Public Golf Courses)
2888 Southern Dunes BlvdHaines City FL 33844 863-421-4653
Description:
HAINES CITY. This demanding course is extremely long from the tips, so pick carefully the tees you play. Multiple tees allow golfers of all abilities to enjoy this outstanding track. Tee shots are welcomed by wide fairways, but a number of bunkers and difficult rough await those shots that miss the short grass. The greens are large, undulating and very quick, so expect some difficult putts if you put the ball on the wrong side of the green.
Timacuan Golf and Country Club
(Sights & Activities - Public Golf Courses)
550 Timacuan BlvdLake Mary FL 32746 407-321-0010
Description:
LAKE MARY. This course features the classical Scottish links-style design on the front nine with rolling fairways, pot bunkers and open, windswept areas. The back nine features more traditional course characteristics with mature trees, woodland areas, and doglegs. More generous than the back, the front will allow for a wider range of shots. The back will require accurate placement off the tee for a good line to the green.
